Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has expressed his desire to challenge former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua after his win over Speed Darlington in their celebrity boxing match.
“Now that I’ve beaten Speed Darlington, it is only Anthony Joshua I can fight now,” Portable told PUNCH Sports Extra.
The “Zazuu” singer, who defeated Speed Darlington at the “Chaos In The Ring” event on April 18 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, also revealed that Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy gave him N20 million.
Following the generous N20 million gift, Portable has requested a musical collaboration with Burna Boy, who has had ongoing issues with Speed Darlington.

The celebrity boxing match came to an unexpected end in the second round when Speed Darlington could not continue after allegedly dislocating his shoulder. After the loss, the American-based Nigerian artist called for a rematch, accusing his opponent of using supernatural powers to claim victory.
“Portable, I want a rematch, it breaks my heart you are carrying that money. It is so unfair, you have up to two experiences fighting. I have not entered ring before,” Speed Darlington lamented in a video posted on Instagram.
The defeated musician also alleged that the event organizers showed tribal bias, claiming that Portable’s Yoruba heritage influenced the outcome, even though the match ended due to his inability to continue, not the judges’ scores.
In response to the accusations, Portable sarcastically welcomed the juju claims, saying, “I am not a loser, I am a winner. He is saying I used juju. Yes, na juju, go find your own juju.”
This marks the second time Portable has expressed a desire to fight Anthony Joshua. Earlier in April, he declared his wish to face the boxing champion for N100m, stating that Speed Darlington was not a suitable opponent.
“I’m not fighting Speed Darlington again; I want Anthony Joshua with N100m,” Portable had said in a video posted on his Instagram page on April 9.
Portable’s triumph over Speed Darlington contributes to his boxing record, which also includes a previous victory over Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in December 2023.
