Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has praised MI Abaga as his mentor, acknowledging him for teaching him the craft of rap and shaping his music career.
During a recent interview with Isbaeu on Curiosity Made Me Ask, shared on YouTube, Ice Prince spoke about his rap abilities, attributing his lyrical strength and confidence to the years of mentorship he received from MI.
He referred to MI as a “big brother” and mentor, who provided him with the knowledge and discipline necessary to thrive in the industry. He added that this strong foundation ensures he can never deliver “wack” verses.

He said: “I can rap on any beat, with anybody, any rapper and I will stand out. I’m not going to have a wack verse on a song
“I’m not saying other rappers cannot rap or do their thing but it can’t be said that I’m wack. I was brought up by the best, shout out to MI Abaga.
“I rapped with MI for years. That’s my big brother, he taught me how to do this and he taught me well”.
Ice Prince gained widespread recognition in 2011 with the release of Oleku, a hit from his debut album, and has since remained a prominent figure in the industry, consistently releasing chart-topping singles and collaborating with top artists.
