Social media critic Verydarkman (VDM) has weighed in on the arrest of TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, also called Seaking, over claims of cyberbullying Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
In a viral video, Verydarkman (VDM) shared his thoughts on the issue, questioning the use of law enforcement for defamation cases while also criticising Sea King for making disrespectful comments about the respected cleric.
VDM cited a video where Sea King allegedly referred to Pastor Adeboye as a “useless boy,” emphasising that such blatant disrespect was unacceptable, regardless of one’s views on activism.

“Calling him a useless boy, someone of that age, is crazy. I don’t care about the level of activism, there has to be respect,” VDM stated.
VDM called for Sea King’s release but also advised people to be mindful of their words, especially when speaking about elders and religious leaders.
Captioning the video, he wrote, “While we are saying they should free him, we should also condemn this. How can you call PASTOR EA ADEBOYE this? Come on na.”
This comes after Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore criticised the police in a viral tweet for re-arresting TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo over alleged cyberbullying of Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Reports indicate that Sea King was taken into custody following a petition filed by Paul James Adama on behalf of a Christian association linked to Adeboye.
