Former Super Eagles’ player, Patrick Pascal has supported Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman to win the African Player Of The Year Award.
INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that Lookman was the only Nigerian and African player named in the top 15 of the 2024 Ballon d’Or list.
He was also nominated, alongside, William Troost-Ekong for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the year award.
Speaking with Brila FM on Tuesday, Pascal stated that Confederation of Africa Football will be be attacked by journalists if they fail to award Lookman the crown.

He said: “If Ademola Lookman doesn’t win this CAF award, journalists will finish CAF. The whole world will finish them.
“What are you going to tell people? So Ademola Lookman stands a good chance to win.”
The winner of the award will be announced on December 16 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
