When it was first revealed that the amount for the expression of interest and nomination forms for the position of president under the All Progressives Congress(APC), it sparked a hot debate on social media.
Many were of the opinion that the cost is too huge and was a way of keeping other not so buoyant politicians from participating. Some even argued that it was a mockery of the #NotTooYoungToRun act, which was recently signed by president Muhammadu Buhari.
However, yesterday, news broke that a group of Buhari supporters identified as the Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network(NCAN) doled out the large sum and purchased the form, for the incumbent president.
This has generated a lot of discussions on social media. Many in the opposition have said, it would mean nothing but corruption, if he president accept the gift.

It use to be a crime for a Public office holder to accept gift while in service till @MBuhari became President. What's the justification for an incumbent President to accept gift of N45M to purchase nomination form from Nigerian business men and women? @DeleMomodu @segalink @atiku

Some contracts-seeking individuals seriously bought nomination form for Buhari, you needed not to, except for your intention, his son could afford N45m easily, he has bikes and cars that are worth more than that.
