Crystal Palace coach, Roy Hodson, feels that his team deserved more from the match against Liverpool. He while addressing journalists after the match said his team played against Liverpool and the referee.
He made particular reference to the penalty that was awarded to Liverpool, when Mamadou Sakho, was adjudged to have tripped Mohammed Salah in the penalty area just on the stroke of half time. He said ”you don’t give that kind of spot kick at that time of the match. ”
Also, the red card that was handed to Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the 75th minutes didn’t also go down well with Roy Hodson, as he felt the referee killed the match with the red card.
