Member representing Anaocha/Njikoka/ D u n u k o f i a Federal Constituency in Anambra State, Hon. Uche Ekwunife, has said that her opponent and National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Victor Umeh has nothing to offer the people of Anambra State.
Ekwunife who is aspiring for the Anambra Central Senatorial district on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party disclosed this while addressing her supporters in a political rally at the Assumpta Catholic Church Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Council.
The lawmaker who is the incumbent Chairman, House Committee on Environment at the House of Representatives believes her track records, antecedents and impacts on the lives of people are formidable platforms for her to win the mandate of the people at the February 14 election.
She urged the people of Anambra to come out en masse to vote the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates for continuity.
“I’m not here to run down anybody, but to thank you people for the support and mandate you gave to me in the last National Assembly election. But for you it won’t have been possible. I have come again to beg for your support and votes at the February 14 general election. As member of the Lower House representing this constituency I did not disappoint on any of my electioneering promises, my antecedents, track records and impact on people’s lives are formidable platforms for me to win the people’s mandate at the February 14 general election,” she added.
She described Umeh as a politician that has nothing to offer the people, adding that his avalanche of criticism on PDP as a political party would not do Anambra State any good, stressing that it was high time Anambra people got integrated into the mainstream of national politics.
