Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has shared his thoughts on the drama surrounding former Marlian signee Idowu Emmanuel, also known as Lil Smart.
Earlier, Information Nigeria reported that the police confirmed Lil Smart’s arrest over alleged defamation and cyberstalking of former label boss Naira Marley.
In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, the activist remarked that Lil Smart could end up in prison. He claimed the former Marlian signee admitted that his actions were meant to get Naira Marley’s attention.
VDM stated that Lil Smart allegedly claimed police officers in Lagos State were corrupt and accused Naira Marley of bribing them to manipulate his case.

He further alleged that the case was transferred to Abuja due to the accusations against the police.
VDM claimed that upon seeing Naira Marley, Lil Smart became humble, broke down in tears, and began confessing his falsehoods.
The activist in the video noted that Lil Smart’s mother wept upon hearing about the case and revealed that the dancer was her only male child.
VDM stated that he also has a mother and would not stand by while she suffers.
He added that his decision to help Lil Smart was influenced by the young man’s mother and the fact that he was still a small boy.
He revealed his plan to go to the police station and appeal for Lil Smart, hoping to keep him out of prison.
In the post, Verydarkman shared his entire conversation with Lil Smart. He revealed that the dancer insulted him and later deleted all their chats.
However, he managed to screen-record some of their conversations before they were deleted.
He stated that after sending Lil Smart the N1 million he had promised, the dancer made certain remarks that made him realise he had been lying about Naira Marley.
Captioning the video, he wrote, “It looks like lil smart might be going to prison oo, he has admitted that everything was a lie and no evidence to those claims even though he made everyone believe he had evidence, now where are all the people pushing him, make sure you get him big lawyers so he can give them evidence maybe he didn’t want to show police his evidence and might want to show a big lawyer, so get him a San”
