A three-storey building is currently on fire at Kosoko Street, off Martins Street in the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.
Thursday’s inferno at the Balogun market started from the topmost part of the building and its cause is yet to be ascertained as details as of press time are sketchy.

Just last week, a fire incident gutted a building at the same Balogun market.
Fire breakouts is known to happen periodically at that the popular market and several goods worth millions goes with the loss.
