Salihu Dembos has been appointed as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, made the announcement of the appointment in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said the appointment is for a tenure of three years in the first instance.

Mr. Dembos served as the NTA’s Executive Director of Marketing prior to his appointment.
Mr. Dembos’ career as a media professional spans over 20 years.
He has held a number of positions including Zonal Director at NTA in Kaduna and General Manager of two NTA Stations in Lokoja and Kano among other appointments.
