Aisha Buhari, Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has deactivated her Twitter page.
Aisha made the announcement before deactivating it on Friday night.
“I will be deactivating my Twitter account for now. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” she tweeted at 11:59pm on Friday.

Minutes later, the account, which had over one million followers as of June 4, was no longer available on the social media platform.
This development came few hours after the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension of the social blogging site.
The suspension is not unconnected to President Buhari’s controversial tweet that was deleted by the management of Twitter on Wednesday.
