Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has queried the call by popular Muslim scholar, Sheikh Gumi for ‘blanket amnesty’ for bandits.
Recall that Gumi made the comment while addressing journalists on Friday after meeting with Abubakar Bello, Niger state governor.

Reacting to this statement, Omokri called on the muslim cleric to give reasons for his suggested approach in tackling banditry.
He wrote: “Dear Sheikh Gumi,
“Why should we give bandits amnesty? Is it because they are Fulani or Muslim? Tell us why. Gen @MBuhari has been killing your fellow Muslim Shiite. Why have you not called for amnesty for Shiites who dont kill, yet want it for bandits who kill?”
