Reno Omokri, a former Presidential aide has reacted to the calls for the resignation of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki by the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress over the insecurity in the state.
Recall that on Sunday, Edo State Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC, Col David Imuse (retd.), called for the “immediate resignation” of Governor Obaseki, over his failure to protect lives and properties in the state.
Reacting to this development, Omokri queried what would happen to President Muhammadu Buhari if Governor Obaseki resigned over insecurity.

Omokri went on to state that Governor Obaseki has handled security in Edo better than the way President Buhari has handled security in Nigeria.
He wrote:
“Edo @OfficialAPCNg is asking Governor Obaseki to resign over the spate of insecurity in Edo. If Obaseki should resign, then what should General #Buhari do? Obaseki has handled security in Edo far better than Buhari has handled security in Nigeria.”
