Recall that Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect issued a new threat where he threatened to kill the minister of communication, Dr Isla Isla Pantanmi, the federal government has stated why he extremist leader is pained.

According to Lauretta Onochie, the presidential aide on social media who spoke via her official Twitter handle on Saturday, she said Shekau is pained because the SIM Card registration & restriction policy instituted by the minister is affecting them.
She wrote: “Some of us think this government is not tackling insecurity.
“Boko Haram’s Shekau, is expressing frustration by threatening to kill Hon. Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Sheik @IsaPantami. The SIM Card registration & restriction policy is affecting them. #SaiBaba.”
