A female suspect has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command after being found to be in possession of a dry human hand.
The suspect was arrested at Centre Area in Ikire at about 10:40 a.m on Monday.
Osun State Police spokesperson, who confirmed the arrest, said the Police Intelligence Unit acted on a tip-off and found the human part concealed in a bag.
She revealed that the state Commissioner of Police (CP), Mr Johnson Kokumo, has directed a thorough investigation into the matter and warned against dealings in human parts.

The suspect would be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation.
