Nigerians react as US suspends 'dropbox' indefinitely

The United States embassy in Nigeria on Tuesday announced that it has suspended drop box application process or interview waiver for those renewing visas.

What this means is that those attempting to renew their visas, just like first-timers will attend visa interviews.

The announcement had spiked huge reactions among Nigerian Twitter users, as they debate what the ‘drop box’ suspension means for Nigeria and Nigerians.

@bolu_oj: I’m so mad at those who really thought Nigeria was on the right track with PMB. The US embassy is very alert and they don’t joke with data – what their recent suspension of drop box indicates to the discerning mind is that things have become desperate for even those well to do.

Halleluyah! Today is a good day.
