Nigeria singer Naira Marley made his first court appearance at the Federal High court Ikoyi following the 11-count charge against him by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The “Issa goal” crooner who has been in EFCC custody since May 10, has been arraigned to court for proceeding. However, Naira Marley pleaded not guilty to the 11-count charge against him, he is to be remanded in EFCC custody till May 30, when his bail application will be heard.
The musician was arrested with his friend Zlatan Ibile and 3 others, for alleged internet fraud (yahoo-yahoo), the rest were released on bail however Naira Marley was charged to court due to the incriminating materials found on his computer.
