Although I remain an ardent critic of Buhari, I commend him for this — FFK

BUHARI, FOR GOD SAKE STOP THIS MADNESS - FFK To Buhari

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) is no doubt, one of the most popular critics of President Muhammadu Buhari.

However, Fani-Kayode says although nothing has changed, he commends the president for declaring late MKO Abiola, Winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election and declaring that June 12 replace May 29th as Democracy Day.

The declaration was endorsed on Thursday by the National Assembly — Meaning Nigerians will know celebrate Democracy Day on June 12th, every year — While May 29th, every four years when a new president is to be sworn into office.

According to Fani-Kayode, while speaking via Twitter on Friday, he would continue to commend Buhari for the move — Because not even one PDP government including the one he served in, from 2003 till 2007, had the courage to do so.

He wrote: I remain an ardent critic of the Buhari admin. but there is one thing that I shall always commend them for the establishment of June 12th as the real Democracy Day, he said.

Sadly not one PDP govt, including the one I served from 2003 till 2007, had the courage to do that, FFK added.
