Governor Rochas Okorocha has expressed that he is calm on the refusal of Independent National Electoral Commission to issue him a certificate of returning for winning the 2019 senatorial election.
Rochas, expressed this view while speaking at a press conference on Thursday in Abuja. He said that he believed the electoral commission was planning something special to present him with his certificate of return. He said;
Maybe INEC wants to be organise a special programme for me to hand over the certificate to me but clearly, i have won and it was a peaceful election.
Informationng had earlier reported that INEC had removed Rocha’s name from the list of elected senators on its website, citing that Rochas was declared winner under duress.
