President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday urged the press to make extra effort to report actual and reliable news.

according to President Buhari, journalism is one of the very important aspects of democracy, as such he urged the media in the country to avoid being associated with fake news stories.

The president made this known via his Twitter handle, adding that news coming from the media should be credible and based on facts at all times.
