Minister for Hadi Siriki broke the heart of many supporters after he announced that the national carrier, Nigeria Air has been suspended. Nigerians couldn’t hide their disappointment as many hoped that at last, the country would have its own national carrier like other countries.
They also said the announcement proved critics like Oby Ezekwesili right, as she has predicted that the project will not see the light of day because it was a waste.
Hadi Sirika had said:
I regret to announce that the Federal Executive Council has taken the tough decision to suspend the National Carrier Project in the interim. All commitments due will be honoured. We thank the public for the support as always

Kindly apologize to @obyezeks for all the insults @OfficialAPCNg @NGRPresident, BMC and Buharideens hauled at her while predicting this eventual outcome. Her years of experience on government policy exonerated her.
