Manchester united gifted midfielder, Andreas Pereira, long wait to create history is finally over last night,after featuring for Brazil as a late substitute in the friendly game against El Salvador in Maryland, USA. Brazil went on to win the match 5-0.
He has now become the first player born outside Brazil to represent the Brazilian national team in over 100 years. Pereira who was born in Duffel,Belgium, qualifies to play for Brazil due to the nationality of his father, who was also a former professional footballer.
The midfielder almost got on the sheet when he released a pile driver from distance only for the goalkeeper to tip it over the bar at full stretch.
