Paul Ince, a former Manchester United midfielder has weighed in on the ongoing drama between Paul Pogba’s agent,Mino Raiola, and Paul Scholes. Scholes had criticised Pogba’s performance in United’s defeat to Brighton during the weekend.
Raiola however hit back at Scholes by asking him to get a job as the sporting director of Manchester United so that he can get rid of Pogba. He went further by saying ” Scholes does not know a true leader when he sees one.
This apparently didn’t go down well with Paul Ince, a former team mate of Scholes and also a former assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson. He said Manchester United are now “becoming a laughing stock” .
He then took a swipe at Raiola on social media by tweeting:
Paul Ince: "Who is Raiola to criticise Scholes? He was an unbelievable player, and a leader despite the fact he didn’t speak much. I doubt it will bother Scholesy much. He’s a pundit paid to give his opinion, but Raiola needs to grow up and stay out of it." #MUFC
