Manchester united’s third game of the campaign ended in disappointment as they were beaten by Tottenham. They conceded 3 unreplied goals to set an unwanted record for manager, Mourinho.
Manchester united who have not lost to Tottenham in 5 matches at Old Trafford started the match on a high and it took Tottenham 40 minutes to get their first shot on goal after the Red devils dominated early possesions.
The loss tonight marks Jose Mourinho’s biggest ever home defeat as a manager in any competition. But the talking point was when he got to the post match interview and refused to concede defeat by saying:
“by the technical point of view, we didn’t lose, but we lost the game”
He also added that:
“I saw Luke Shaw with cramp at 3-0 down, but he was still looking to change the result. He showed the dignity that the fans deserve.”
