Haruna Isah was on Wednesday arraigned by the police before an Upper Area Court in Karu, Abuja, for alleged false information on disappearance his s*x organ. The accused is standing trial on a three-count charge of giving false information, defamation and criminal assault of one Abubakar Lamidi of Area 1, Section 1, Garki, Abuja.
According to the prosecutor of the case, Mohammed Garba, Lamidi, the complainant, had reported on July 24 that Isah accused him of stealing his s*x organ. He said that, besides the allegation by the accused, the accused also called his friends and they beat up Lamidi and his friend.
Mohammed Garba continued that: “The complainant’s cell phone, valued at N120, 000 and a cash of N18, 500 were allegedly removed from his pocket.”
Meanwhile, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. The presiding judge, Umar Kalgo, granted bail to the accused in the sum of N50,000 with one surety, who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court. The case was then adjourned to the 10th of October for further hearing.

This is the second time the home-based Eagles will be making it to the semi-final, since their debut in 2014 in South Africa where they finished third.
They will now take on Sudan in the last four.
