The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, (PDPPCO) has alleged that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo were imposed on the party to achieve what he called a sinister agenda of former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that General Buhari emerged as a candidate at the party presidential convention held last year in Lagos.
But addressing newsmen last night in Abuja, Director of Media and Publicity of PDPPCO, Femi Fani-Kayode claimed that both General Buhari and Professor Osinbajo were a creation of Tinubu to achieve his motive of ruling the country through the backdoor.
The former Aviation Minister alleged that Professor Osinbajo has been compelled “ to swear to an oath that after six months in office, he would resign as the vice president, in the unlikely event that their party wins.”
Fani-Kayode further alleged that the former Lagos governor and national leader of the APC ultimate aim was to succeed General Buhari given what Fani Kayode claimed to be General Buhari’s faiiling health and the evil expectation of Bola Tinubu “ that General Buhari will not be able to go the whole hog.
