Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM), has addressed the criticism he faced after a video featuring him with singers Naira Marley and Zinoleesky at a nightclub went viral.
The video sparked backlash on social media, with many criticizing VDM for being associated with Naira Marley, especially due to the ongoing controversies surrounding the death of Marley’s former artist, Mohbad.
Although it was reported that Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry were arrested in connection with Mohbad’s death, they were later released.
VDM, who has had public disagreements with actress Iyabo Ojo and Wunmi, Mohbad’s widow, responded in an Instastory post on Tuesday.

He stated that the Mohbad case was closed and suggested that public emotions surrounding the singer’s death had allowed certain individuals to hide the truth.
He emphasized that he would not bow to public opinion and would continue to stand for what he believes is the truth.
He wrote, “Mohbad case don end make una no vex, na una sentiment give the real people when know wetin do the boy passage to hide the truth… Just like I warned so it has happened, Mohbad will never get justice. As a ratel I will stand for the real truth, not the crowd truth.”
