The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has appealed to Christians in Abuja to obey God’s commandments, especially during festive season.
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Olalere Olayinka.
Wike, also sympathised with families of the stampede victims who lost their lives on the 22nd of December, 2024, during palliative distribution.
The former governor of Rivers State, urged residents of FCT to be keep hope alive, adding that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government will soon make things better for everyone.

He said: “I congratulate all residents of the Federal Capital Territory for the grace of celebrating another Christmas.
“It is my prayer that the good Lord who made this possible will ensure that we all celebrate many more Christmas in good health.
“Once again, I also sympathise with families of victims of the recent stampedes in Abuja.
“I pray that God in His infinite mercies will grant them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“With the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, things will keep getting better.”
