Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has dismissed reports of a ₦160 million fraud involving well-known social media activist, Verydarkman (VDM).
The rumours began after VDM alleged in a video that his NGO’s website had been hacked, resulting in the loss of funds meant for charitable projects.
He further claimed that he was going to Jos to recover the money and that one suspect had been arrested in connection with the incident.
Following his statement, many social media users and celebrities, including Portable and BLord, accused him of fraud.
However, in an unexpected twist, Dammy Krane shared a video on Instagram on Saturday alongside VDM, revealing that the entire situation was a prank.

The disclosure has generated varied reactions online, with some expressing relief that no fraud took place, while others condemned the duo for treating a serious matter lightly.
