The Ogun State Police Command has initiated a manhunt for a woman suspected of murder in the Ipokia region of the state.
Omolola Odutola, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed this on Saturday in a statement obtained by DAILY POST.
The statement claimed that at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, the suspect and the deceased, Morenike Oladega, a resident of Isunba Street, Ipokia LGA, got into a fight after an argument.
The deceased struck her head on a wall and collapsed as a result of the suspect pushing her during the altercation.
According to the statement, one Ibrahim Oladega reported the occurrence to the Command on that particular day.

“Upon receiving the report, detectives were dispatched to the scene, where they found the victim lying on her back.
“A photograph was taken, and her body was transported to the General Hospital in Ipokia, where she was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.”
The culprit fled and is still at large.
However, the Command assured the public that measures are underway to apprehend and bring the culprit to justice.
Additionally, the Command urged anyone with knowledge of the suspect’s location to come forward and help the police.
