Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, according to Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, is the “Judas-Iscariot” of the State.
Omo-Agege made the claim during a speech during the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress presidential/governorship campaign held at the Warri Township Stadium on Saturday.
He assured Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, that the people of Delta State are friendly.
“We don’t tolerate traitors. We don’t like treachery and we don’t like traitors.”
The only traitor among the twelve disciples that Jesus Christ had, according to Omo-Agege, was Judas-Iscariot.
He claimed that the quest for vice president has been an “ill-fated” excursion for Governor Okowa.

He claims that Okowa has refused to commit political suicide like Judas-Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ his Master.
He called on Okowa to step down from the ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He noted that Delta State is supposed to be one of the richest states in the Niger Delta.
He added that with its natural endowment especially with the federation account, 13%derivation and others received, there’s nothing to show in commensurate order.
Omo-Agege emphasised that Warri has evolved into the headquarters of Keke capital in Delta State.
He emphasised that although there is abundance, the people are suffering, and they want the story to change.
