Nigerian music executive Audu Maikori on Thursday revealed that embattled rapper, Ice Prince has been released from police custody.
The Chocolate City Group founder, via Twitter, gave updates on Ice Prince’s detention.
While reacting to tweets from fans relating to Ice Prince, Mr. Audu said, “He (Ice Prince) is safely back home.”
Recall that Information Nigeria reported on Ice Prince arrest. The rapper was arrested for an alleged assault on a police officer who stopped him for driving without license plates.
The alleged assault trial of the famous Nigerian singer, Panshak Zamani, aka Ice Prince, was delayed on Wednesday at a magistrate court in Ajah, following the absence of the prosecution witnesses which was part of the bail conditions Ice Prince was yet to meet.
The hearing continues on 24 October.
