Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani has expressed that reform in the petroleum industry of Nigeria is critical for the survival of its economy and future.

The former lawmaker said this as he commended the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari, for the transitioning of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC LTD to NNPC Limited.

President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled NNPC limited on Tuesday in accordance with the Petroleum Industry Act.

According to the Act, NNPC Limited will run a commercial and profit-focused organisation under the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
