Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr Emmanuel Fanu as the acting Registrar of the Lagos State University, Ojo.
A statement by the Coordinator of the Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, LASU, Mr Ademola Adekoya, said Fanu’s appointment was recommended by the Surrogate Council of the university and the Special Adviser on Education, Mr Tokunbo Wahab.
Fanu, until his appointment, was the deputy registrar and Secretary of the Post Graduate School, LASU.
The statement that Fanu’s appointment would run until the selection process of the 9th vice-chancellor would be concluded.
The statement read, “The Governor of Lagos State, and visitor to the Lagos State University, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the recommendation of the Surrogate Council of the university (Special Adviser on Education) to appoint Mr Emmanuel Fanu as acting Registrar, Lagos State University.

“Mr Fanu was until his new appointment, the deputy registrar and Secretary, Post Graduate School of the university.
“His appointment will run until the selection process of the 9th Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University is concluded.”
Fanu was born in Badagry, Lagos, on December 21, 1968.
