A driver was killed in a road accident involving the convoy of Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
The accident was reported to have occurred while the Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya was returning from Bauchi where he attended the meeting of North-East Governors’ Forum to his own state, Gombe.
According to report gathered, we learnt that one of the tyres of a vehicle conveying the Gombe State Governor’s Director-general of press affairs, Ismail Uba Misilli got burst in motion.

Daily Trust reported that the driver of the vehicle in which Misilli was a passenger lost control of the vehicle and died in the process while other occupants sustained various injuries.
Others in the vehicle were identified as Misilli, Umar Mahmud Gwani of GMC TV, Mohammed Adamu Osama and Malam Auwal, a photographer.
Apart from the driver, Malam Babangida who died during the accidents, other occupants and about 10 police officers sustained injury in the crash.
