Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has queried the reason for the ban on cryptocurrency trading in Nigeria by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Recall that Nigeria’s apex bank directed banks in the country to close all cryptocurrency-related accounts.

This decision has generated a lot of negative reactions from different quarters of the country and on social media.
Reacting to this development, the former lawmaker from Kaduna queried the reason for the ban on cryptocurrency, describing the move as running backwards.
He wrote: “Why the ban on Cryptocurrency? Why are we running backward?”
