Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has called on the All Progressives Congress-led administration to protect #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters.
His comment is coming after the arrest of some protesters at the Lekki toll gate.

Recall that #EndSARS protesters had insisted on a protest after the Lagos judicial panel ordered reopening of Lekki toll gate despite no justice for those who lost lives in October 2020.
Reacting, Sani on his Twitter page said peaceful protest was a fundamental human right which should be permitted, as it was enjoyed by those in power.
