Trinidadian-American rapper, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, alias Nicki Minaj, has reportedly lost her father, Robert Maraj to the cold hands of death.
The rapper’s father died after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend.
Maraj, 64, was crossing the street in Long Island on Friday when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle hurriedly left the scene, according to the Nassau County Police.
The rapper’s father was taken to a local hospital and he was pronounced dead on Saturday. The police revealed that they are currently carrying out an investigation on the case.

The 38-year-old rapper, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in the Queens borough of New York City, was yet to publicly address the death of her father at the time of filing this report.
