DMW female signee, Liya, has revealed how Davido signed her on to his record label. The ‘Melo’ crooner explained how it happened during her Artist of the Week spotlight interview by Channels Television.
According to the 21-year-old Afro-pop singer, she was out with her manager named Vanessa who spoke with Peruzzi at his listening party.

The Osun State-born singing sensation said she was scared of being introduced to Peruzzi at the time. This was because her manager wasted no time in playing some of her demo songs to Peruzzi.
From there, she met Davido and he also listened to her songs at the club. He exclaimed that she is very good and immediately declared his interest in signing her to the label.
