Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, otherwise known as Shiites have called for the release of their embattled leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
The group also demanded the release of El-Zakzaky’s wife and other members of the group still in detention.
The Chairman Resource Forum of the IMN, Professor Abdullahi Danladi made this new call on Saturday while addressing newsmen in Kaduna.

He said that four years after a federal high court freed El-Zakzaky and his wife, the federal government has refused to obey the court order.
He pointed out that the government’s failure to obey court orders was totally unacceptable.
