Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the call that Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Mathew Kukah should leave the state, following his Christmas message.
Recall that the Muslim Solidarity Forum, Sokoto, had advised Kukah to quietly leave Sokoto or stop what it termed “his malicious vituperations against Islam and Muslims,” or tender unreserved apology to Muslims.

Reacting to this development, the former lawmaker in a post on his Twitter handle called for dialogue instead of threat.
He wrote: “My Dear Muslim Forum Sokoto, go in peace and meet Kukah in his Parish, engage him in a debate and defeat or win him over with your superior argument; be a tolerant host, no need to threaten or ‘expel him.’ Don’t set a precedent for “Quit noticing the messenger” Thank you.”
