Popular Nigerian entertainer, Babatunde Bello, also known as DJ Babus, has died after contracting the novel coronavirus.
The news of the entertainer’s demise comes as a shock to many.
The disc jockey reportedly passed away on Friday following a long battle with the disease.
Reacting to the news, celebrities and friends have expressed their condolences on social media.
In 2010, DJ Babus obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Technology Management from the University of Baltimore in the United States.
The deceased served as Resident DJ at Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos between 2014 and 2015 and subsequently, took up the job of Resident DJ at RSVP Restaurant and Lounge.
The late disc jockey also created his own company called, ‘Crates and Vinyl Entertainment.’
