Nigerian Afro-beats musician, Seun Kuti, has described the reopening of schools during the period of COVID-19 as pure wickedness.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Grammy-nominated artist accuses the government of their unreadiness to organize virtual classes.
He also noted that the politicians’ children do not attend the local schools.
In his words:
”That thing inside the ruling elites of this country Wey make dem hate the struggling people of this country, one day dem go tell us. This is wickedness pure and simple. The only reason this children and undergrads are forced to resume is because no one is willing to invest in virtual classrooms for them. There is no immediate profit to be made. #mop #liberationgeneration”
