Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolani Baj, has taken to her Twitter page to rant about the poor healthcare system in Nigeria.
The reality TV star advised people to fly their elderly relatives abroad if they can because the local healthcare system is too poor to offer the essential service of saving lives.
She added that Nigerian healthcare professionals lack empathy and a sense of urgency.

“Fly your loved ones out of the country for proper medical treatment most especially if they’re elderly. The nonchalance I experienced yesterday is ALARMING. See elderly gasping for air/folks needing oxygen tanks but the health professionals didn’t give a flying fuck. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever. Kindly do the needful for your loved one. The healthcare system is failing us. There’s no way words can express what I experienced yesterday. There was no empathy from the healthcare professionals. None Healthcare is handled as if it’s a joke.”
