Former pension reform task team boss, Abdulrasheed Maina has been arrested on Monday evening by operatives of Nigeria Intelligence Service and anti-corruption agents.
According to reports, Maina was arrested in the Niger Republic.
Intelligence sources confirmed to newsmen that Maina was arrested on Monday evening somewhere in the Niger Republic and would be brought into Nigeria Tuesday or Wednesday.

Maina is being prosecuted on 12 counts of money laundering to the tune of N2bn by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
He jumped bail leading to the sentencing of the lawmaker who stood as surety, Senator Ali Ndume to prison and forcing the trial judge, Justice Abang Okon, to issue a warrant for his arrest.
The Senator was however also released on bail last week Friday after meeting conditions set by the court.
