Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, alias Davido, has reacted after a man claimed that he turned to armed robbery so he can raise enough money to feature him and his colleague, Runtown on his album.
The man, identified as Dare Williams, was apprehended by the police for snatching a vehicle from a hailing service driver.
According to police report, Williams lured his friend, Bethel Chukwuocha, 18, to steal the Toyota Corolla car from the driver, Clement Aniegbe, on Monday.
The upcoming artiste and his friend had threatened the driver with Kitchen knives. Williams claimed he planned to sell off the vehicle for a million naira so he would raise the money he needed to advance his music career.
The Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu, also confirmed the arrest of two suspects.
Reacting to the news report, Davido tweeted on Thursday;
“TULEEE!!! THIS WAN NAH D HIGHEST CHOKE!!”
