Nigerian singer, Queency Benna has cried out for help on social media after allegedly being raped by a man, identified as ‘Alaka Obi’.
The singer released a video in which she narrated her ordeal and she captioned it with the words;
“Is it a crime to be a woman ??? I feel violated and uncomfortable even in my own skin,I pray no woman goes through what I went through ”.
Benna revealed that she met the man at a hotel in Abuja and he had invited her for the dinner. The singer noted that she was skeptical about hanging out with him but she still did and it turned out to be a ‘big mistake.’ According to her, the man took advantage of her as he forcefully had sexual intercourse with her after she became tipsy during their dinner date.
The singer said that the man also threatened to leak a video of her naked body.
Taking to social media, the distressed singer released the man’s name, photos, and screenshots of chats they allegedly exchanged to back her claims that he raped her. She also alerted the Nigerian police regarding the issue.
Queency Benna revealed that she planned on taking her life because she felt less of a human and she wanted to throw herself from the 9th-floor window where she was.
