American singer, Cardi B took many by surprise after she praised controversial reality star, Erica Nlewedim for her unique and classy fashion sense.
The reality TV star had recreated the outfit that Cardi B wore on her ‘Invasion of Privacy’ album cover. The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper had rocked a white and black checkered suit with cropped, bright yellow hair.
In a bid to make a fashion statement, Erica followed suit as she wore a monochrome checkered shirt paired with a plain white jacket. She also wore a pair of sunshades and low heeled black mules. After the reality TV star posted the photo, she received plaudits and criticisms from web users.
A young man, identified as D1 took to Twitter to ridicule the actress and he compared the latter’s fashion style with that of Cardi B. The Twitter user posted the original photo of Cardi B along with Erica’s photo and he wrote; “Grammy style Grandma style.”
Reacting to the photo, the US musician leaped to the reality TV star’s defense as she tweeted;
“I like it tho. Its different and classy, mines is different and edgy.”

Erica replied to the tweet, saying;
“Hahahahaha thanks that’s what I was going for!”
