Few minutes after a Catholic Priest, Rev Fr. Paul Offu was shot dead by unknown gunmen, his bank account was reportedly emptied by an unknown person.

According to the report, the yet to be identified person made hasty and frequent withdrawals, 25 minutes after he was murdered.

Buhari, Ramaphosa To Meet Over Xenophobic Attacks Against Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to meet with South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa over the persistent xenophobic attack on Nigerians in the latter’s country.

Atiku Abubakar, former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been accused of being responsible for the country’s poverty figures by the Buhari Media Organisation (BMO).

Reacting to a statement credited to Atiku accusing the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of plunging the country into multi-dimensional poverty, citing a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) report, BMO says the PDP is the culprit.

This follows an alarm raised by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN), Femi Falana that Ibrahim El Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria(IMN) is yet to be realised by the Department of State Service(DSS), days after a Kaduna High court had given an order.

El Zakzaky had been granted permission to travel to India alongside his wife, government officials and operatives of the DSS for medical treatment in India.
