Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Ibraheem El-Zakzaky ‘s daughter, Suhaila says her father is suffering from lead poisoning which could kill him at any time.
In an interview with BBC, Suhaila said her father deserves proper medical attention for his condition.
Fani-Kayode Reacts As Miyetti Allah Threatens To Shutdown All Meat Markets In South East
A former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to a statement credited to Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria(MACBAN) that all meat markets in the South will be shut down.
The association was said to have decried the lack of appreciation they received from the region for providing them with meat. They were said to have accused the East of being the first to object to the proposed planned RUGA settlement proposed by the federal government to put an end to farmers/herders crises.
Performance Of All Ministers Will Be Monitored — Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari says his 43 cabinet members that will be sworn in next week will receive clear implementation targets tied to their portfolio and their performance will be closely monitored.
According to the President in a tweet on Wednesday, that there will be close monitoring to endure that the incoming ministers comply with those targets.
Buhari Commissions Two Roads Under Rain, Queries IGP For Not Providing Raincoats
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday commissioned two road projects in Katsina State despite light rainfall.
The projects were constructed by the Katsina state government, and the President had departed Abuja on Saturday to celebrate Sallah.
While in the rain, Buhari noticed that the policemen on duty were without a raincoat and he verbally queried the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu for failing to provide raincoats for the security operatives.
BREAKING: El-Zakzaky On His Way Back To Nigeria
Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), is on his way back to the country after barely four days in India.
According to TheCable, a source close to El-Zakazaky revealed this, adding that the federal government frustrated his treatment in India.
El-Zakzaky and his wife had departed Nigeria to India aboard Emirates Airlines on Monday. They were accompanied on the trip by officers from the National Intelligence Agency as well as his family members.
Imo State Governor Names Kanu Nwankwo As SSA On Sports
Governor of Imo, Emeka Ihedioha
Former Nigerian International player, Kanu Nwankwo has been appointed Senior Special Assistant on Sports to the Imo state governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
This was made known in a statement disclosed by Izuchukwu Akwarandu, new media aide to the governor.
The statement reads; “The governor, Emeka Ihedioha, received one of the country’s football legends, Kanu Nwankwo, at the Government House, Owerri, on August 14, 2019.”

However, in reaction to the claims made by the IMN leader, the federal government said that he(El Zakzaky) had been making unreasonable demands including wanting to be checked in a 5 star hotel
